Terms of Service

These terms govern use of CashRoute, a product of Terra-bate LLC, by Shopify merchants (“you”). By installing the app you agree to them.
The service
CashRoute lets your shoppers choose, at checkout, between an instant discount and cashback of equal value paid to their bank after a delay you configure. You enable cashback on your own Shopify discounts; CashRoute creates and manages the matching offer.
Fees & billing
- A free trial runs until the earlier of 2 months or $500 in CashRoute-influenced sales.
- After the trial, a monthly subscription (Growth, Pro, or Business) is billed through Shopify. You can cancel anytime; access continues through the paid period.
- You are responsible for funding the cashback you offer. CashRoute charges your connected bank account for the cashback amount, then disburses it to the shopper.
Cashback obligations
Once a shopper chooses and claims cashback, that reward is an obligation to the shopper. Rewards already earned are honored even if you later change plans or uninstall, subject to valid funding.
Acceptable use
Don’t use CashRoute for unlawful activity, fraud, or to misrepresent offers to shoppers. We may suspend accounts that do.
Restricted products & your responsibility
Some products may not lawfully receive cash rebates, cashback, or purchase-based rewards — including, depending on your jurisdiction, alcohol, tobacco and nicotine products, cannabis/CBD, prescription or pharmacy items, firearms and ammunition, lottery and gift/stored-value cards. These rules vary by state and locality and may change.
You are solely responsible for determining which of your products are restricted where you operate and for flagging them in the CashRoute app so they are excluded from cashback. CashRoute provides tools to exclude products (manual selection, a “no cashback” collection, and automated suggestions) but does not independently verify your catalog or the law applicable to you, and the automated suggestions are not a determination of legality. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CashRoute and Terra-bate LLC are not liable for cashback applied to any product you did not flag as restricted, and you agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your failure to flag restricted products. The service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, Terra-bate LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Payment processing is performed by Stripe and Plaid under their own terms.
