CashRoute (“we”, “us”), a product of Terra-bate LLC, helps Shopify merchants offer shoppers a choice between an instant discount and cashback paid later. This policy explains what we collect and why.

Information we collect

• Merchant data: store domain, contact email, the discounts you enable, subscription and usage data.
• Shopper data (for cashback only): when a shopper chooses cashback, we process their email, order total, and — to pay them — bank account details collected securely through our payment partner (Plaid). We never see or store full bank credentials.

How we use it

• To calculate, reserve, and pay cashback rewards.
• To bill merchant subscriptions through Shopify.
• To send transactional emails (e.g. cashback claim links).
• To provide analytics to the merchant about their CashRoute performance.

Payment processors

Cashback is funded and disbursed via Stripe (merchant funding) and Plaid (secure bank linking and ACH transfer). Each handles financial data under its own privacy policy and security controls.

Data sharing & retention

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with the processors above as needed to deliver the service, and retain it only as long as necessary for the service and legal obligations. Shoppers and merchants may request deletion via the contact below.
